data.</p><p>Participates in the inspection of the aircraft facilities of agencies submitting bids for air spray service contracts.</p><p>Monitors aircraft pesticide applications, conditions, and dosage levels.</p><p>Assists in coordinating field activities for pesticide application and the monitoring of target and non-target organisms.</p><p>Assists with and participates in the training of seasonal employees utilized to monitor and identify mosquito populations, their stages of development, and their breeding habitats.</p><p>Assists with the setting and collection of samples from various traps used to monitor mosquito populations.</p><p>May identify, pool and submit mosquito samples for arbovirus testing in conjunction with the state vector surveillance program(s).</p><p>Identifies suspected violations of pesticide application regulations.</p><p>Provides information to other agencies on program policies, the aerial application of insecticides, and participates in training sessions concerning pesticide application, equipment used, and other requirements related to mosquito control necessary for State Certification.</p><p>Participates in the coordination of mosquito control activities with other municipal and private mosquito control or pesticide application programs.</p><p>Provides mosquito control information regarding pesticide legislation, labeling, certification, training, and licensing.</p><p>Prepares clear, technically sound, accurate, and informative reports.</p><p>When required, provides testimony and acts as a witness sciences.</p><p><b>EXPERIENCE:</b></p><p>One (1) year of experience in entomological or bio-chemical research, or in the application of entomological or bio-chemical principles to field investigations or chemical control of insect populations.</p><p><b>NOTE: </b>A Master's degree in Biology or Entomology may be substituted for the one (1) year of experience.</p><p><b>LICENSE:</b></p><p>Applicants must possess a Certified Pesticide Applicator, Commercial license in the appropriate categories, issued by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.</p><p>Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.</p><p><b>KNOWLEDGE AND
