RECOVERY ASSISTANT DETOXIFICATION UNIT

Definition

Under close supervision, performs supportive functions and assists in preparing alcohol abusers for rehabilitation while working in a detoxification unit or center; collects factual information from clients, observes their physical condition, participates in groups interaction sessions, and assists in the joint treatment planning for clients and on occasion may be required to perform a variety of housekeeping work; does other related duties as required.
