Definition

Under direction, serves as a liaison between a school district and the local community; assists, on a non-professional level, teachers and certified staff members in interpreting the role of a school system and related educational programs to parents and other community members; does other related duties. Under direction, provides direct aide to teachers or other certificated staff members; assists in the classroom activities of school children; does other related duties.
