PROGRAM DIRECTOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE ACADEMY
Several New Jersey counties operate their own EMS academy, training technicians for their squads and frequently for neighbouring towns as well. The programme director is answerable for the academy as an institution: its State approval, its instructor roster, its budget, and whether its students pass.
The post is filled by the county or authority that runs the academy. Experience and certification in emergency medical training stand in place of a Commission examination.
