Definition

Under the direction of the Director of a Division, or a group of programs, District Health Officer, has charge of a specialized phase of a public health program, with wide latitude for independent judgment in planning, organizing and directing the program; or has charge of a central administrative and consultative service in the development and application at a local level of a specialized program; does related work as required.
