- Conducts daily and evening, scheduled and unscheduled rounds of all clinical areas.
- Ensures that all staff conduct regular ward rounds and address items which need improvement.
- Develops, plans and implements standards of care for the Nursing Department.
- Reviews and revises annual nursing philosophy goals and objectives manual, staffing and nursing policies and procedures.
- Oversees initial and annual employee orientation.
- Oversees employee performance evaluations.

Education
Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, supplemented by a Master's degree in Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
Experience
Two (2) years of psychiatric/mental health nursing, one (1) year of which shall have been as an advanced practice nurse AND four (4) years of management/supervisory experience in the clinical delivery of psychiatric/mental health nursing.
License
Applicant must possess a current professional license as a Registered Nurse valid in the State of New Jersey.
Applicant must possess a New Jersey Board of Nursing certification as an advanced practice nurse with a psychiatric/ mental health specialization.
