Definition

Under the direction of a supervisory official in the Department of Health, carries out the activities of the Veterinary Public Health Project; provides consultation on zoonotic diseases, their diagnosis, prevention, and control to regional and local health departments, wildlife agencies, physicians and veterinarians, the Division of Epidemiology, Environmental and Occupational Health, and other staff members of the department; does related work as required.
