BOROUGH TREASURER
The treasurer keeps the municipality's books, disburses its funds, and prepares the annual financial statement that the State requires.
Municipalities above a size threshold must employ a Certified Municipal Finance Officer, certified by the Division of Local Government Services. Certification and appointment take the place of an examination.
