CITY TREASURER

The city treasurer keeps the municipal accounts, disburses funds on properly approved vouchers, and prepares the annual financial statement the State requires.

Municipalities above a size threshold must employ a Certified Municipal Finance Officer, credentialed by the Division of Local Government Services.
