Education
Completion of a vocational, technical or specialized training program in electronics and or radio communications.
Experience
One (1) year of experience in work involving installing, operating and repairing radio communications equipment.
<b>SUBSTITUTION</b>
Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute one (1) year of additional experience as indicated.
<b>LICENSE(S)</b>
Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey.
The appointing authority may require applicants to possess licenses or certification specific to radio operation and repair.

Repairs mobile radio communications equipment
Repairs FM radio transmitters and receivers, and electrical components
Troubleshoots problems with FM radio transmitters and receivers, and microprocessors
Operates mobile radio and base station communications equipment
