YARD SUPERVISOR

Definition

Under direction, supervises and is responsible for the work performed by employees who are engaged in such duties as stacking materials, loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments of supplies, materials, and equipment, sorting scrap materials for salvage, and maintaining, repairing, and servicing motor vehicles and construction equipment in a public works type of yard; does related work as required.
