Education
Completion of a vocational, technical or specialized training program in electrical or electronic technology.
Experience
Three (3) years of experience in work involving the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical or electronic components, equipment or systems. One (1) year of the required experience shall have been in a supervisory or leadworker capacity.
License
S, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS
Appointees will be required to possess a drivers license valid in the State of New Jersey.
Appointees will be required to possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and applicable endorsements for the class and type of vehicle being operated only if it is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
Appointee may be required to possess a FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License, Radio Industry Competency Certificate or equivalent license or certification specific to radio operation and repair.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute two (2) years of additional nonsupervisory experience.
