PROBATION OFFICER
Probation officers supervise people the court has placed under supervision instead of, or after, custody — verifying conditions, enforcing child support orders, and reporting back to the judge.
They are Judiciary employees rather than executive-branch ones. The vicinages recruit and appoint them directly, which is why no Commission specification appears here even though the work is regular full-time employment.
