Definition

Under the direction of a supervisory officer in a state department, institution, or agency, operates, maintains and cleans various types of complex laboratory equipment including, prepares media and reagents, handles specimens, supplies and equipment; cleans and sterilizes contaminated glassware and/or cares for laboratory animals; may provide guidance and instruction and supervise the work of Laboratory Service Worker 1; does related work as required.
