When so assigned, acts as Supervisor of the Administration Section, including the Communications Bureau, the Logistics Bureau, the Personnel Bureau, and the Budget Bureau (Fiscal and Procurement). Provides advice and assistance to the Superintendent on all matters concerning the requesting of and expenditure of appropriated. funds. When so assigned, acts as Supervisor of the Investigation Section, including the Organized Crime Task Force Bureau, the Field Services Bureau, the Criminal Investigations Bureau and the Narcotic Bureau and is responsible for the Troop Criminal Investigation Sections and all Detectives assigned to Troop Stations. Gives appropriate assignment, training, and direction to assigned uniformed and other staff. Sees that proper discipline and standards of conduct are maintained. Reviews reports submitted by staff. Prepares correspondence, memoranda, reports and records in the course of official duties; maintains a log. Prepares reports. Supervises the maintenance of official records and files.
