SENIOR LAUNDRY WORKER

Definition

Under direction, is responsible for one or more major units of laundry work, or takes the lead over a small group of employees, patients, or inmates engaged in sorting, checking, ironing, pressing, or operating laundry equipment, or takes the lead over a small group of employees, patients, or inmates in sorting and checking clean clothing and linen in and/or out of linen rooms; does other related duties as required.
