STATE TREASURER

The Treasurer heads the Department of the Treasury and is nominated by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate. The department collects the State's revenue, manages its debt and investments, runs its purchasing, and administers the pension and benefits systems that most of the people in this database belong to.
