Definition

Under general supervision of a Social Work Supervisor in a psychiatric clinic, institution, or bureau under the jurisdiction of the Division of Mental Health Services, Department of Human Services, acts as a case consultant or supervises the work of a group of Social Workers 1 and 2 (Psychiatric) or, performs varied tasks involved in assisting adults and children to make satisfactory social and emotional adjustments; does other related work.
