BackgroundThe appeal of T.B., Senior Medical Security Officer, Ann Klein Forensic Center, Department of Health, removal effective March 5, 2018, on charges, was heard by Administrative Law Judge Gail M. Cookson. who rendered her initial decision on July 1, 2019. Exceptions were filed on behalf of the appellant.

AnalysisHaving considered the record and the Administrative Law Judge’s initial decision including the finding of abuse sustained by the Office of Program Integrity and Accountability in this joint case, and having made an independent evaluation of the record, the Commission at its meeting of August 14, 2019, accepted and adopted the Findings of Fact and Conclusion as contained in the attached Administrative Law Judge’s initial decision,

ORDER |

The Civil Service Commission finds that the action of the appointing authority in removing the appellant was justified. The Commission therefore affirms that action and dismisses the appeal of T.B.

This is the final administrative determination in this mattey. Any further review should be pursued in a judicial forum.

About this page

Not an official copy. The decision of record is CSC's monthly archive. The text above was extracted from it by OCR and may differ in layout or, rarely, in a character.

Names appear as the Commission published them in its public minutes and decisions, initials where it used initials. This site does not offer a search by a person's name.

The labels are ours. The kind of matter and the outcome are our reading of the minutes; the ACTION text the Commission recorded is quoted verbatim above. A decision applies the rules to its own facts and is not a prediction for any other matter, and nothing here is legal advice.
