Definition

Under close supervision in the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, learns by instruction and on the job training the inspection, grading, and certification of agricultural products and materials, and price verification procedures at various locations, inventory monitoring, and storage and handling of USDA foods in accord with state and/or federal laws and regulations; does related work as required.
