Appointees will be required to possess a valid driver's license issued by the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

Considerable knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and supplies and of the particular requirements of the Department concerned.

Considerable knowledge of ordering methods and the preparation of requisitions for materials.

Considerable knowledge of Fire Underwriters' specifications for warehouses.

Ability to make physical inventories of stock periodically. Ability to maintain all necessary records and files.

Ability to oversee the requisitioning, pricing and issuing of automobile parts and supplies.

Ability to arrange the delivery of parts.

Ability to prepare monthly reports of items purchased and received, stock issued, complaints and work in progress and completed.

Good health and freedom from disabling physical and mental defects which would impair the proper performance of the required duties or which might endanger the health and safety of oneself or others.
