AREA SUPERVISOR INSTITUTIONAL ASSISTANCE

Definition

Under the direction of the Chief, Bureau of Local Operations, Division of Public Welfare, Department of Institutions and Agencies, is responsible for the Administration of an Institutional Services Section Area office providing Institutional Assistance (vendor payments of maintenance) and Medical Surgical coverage to certain individuals confined in approved psychiatric hospitals; State Schools for the Retarded and State tuberculosis facilities; does related work as required.
