Under direction supervises staff in the title of Supervisor, Public Works and other employees involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of public works facilities; does other related duties as required.

- Organizes and develops work programs for the varied functions of the department.
- Gives assignments and instructions to individuals/groups and supervises their work.
