SENIOR MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST

Definition

Under the supervision of the appropriate administrative officer, performs and supervises work of major importance within the various scientific disciplines of medical technology, including, but not necessarily limited to the technology associated with clinical chemistry, clinical microbiology, parasitology, hematology, immunology, immunohematology and histology; performs and supervises research work in the area of clinical laboratory medicine; does related work as required.
