SERGEANT FIELD OPERATIONS

Field Operations

Field Operations is the uniformed road side of the State Police — the stations, the patrols, and the highways the Division polices directly in municipalities with no local force of their own. A sergeant supervises at station level within it.

The qualifier records the section a member is assigned to, not a different rank. Assignment and promotion are both internal to the Division.
