APPELLATE SPECIALIST LABOR

Definition

Under the direction of the Administrator, Board of Review, Department of Labor reviews and analyzes decisions of the various appeal tribunals; takes testimony and prepares written decisions and recommendations to the Board of Review in cases under the jurisdiction of the Board; as designated, acts as hearing officer under the private Plan provisions of the Temporary Disability Benefits Law; does related work as required.
