The raw salary schedule data is also accessible at /data/job_specs_index.json — each spec record includes salary_range, salary_meta.min_salary, and salary_meta.max_salary fields.
The NJ Compensation Compendium covers state employees only. Counties, municipalities, school districts, and authorities negotiate their own salary schedules independently. Local government salaries for similar titles can be higher or lower than state salaries — there is no uniform local schedule.
