LONG TERM CARE INVESTIGATOR HEALTH SERVICES

Definition

Under the direction of the NJ State Long Term Care Ombudsman (SLTCO) or other supervisory official in the SLTO, investigates allegations of abuse, neglect and exploitation of individuals residing in long-term care facilities, advocates for long-term care residents' human and civil rights, monitors quality of care and quality of life of residents of long-term care facilities and provides clinical assessment and direction to consumers and long-term care facility staff; does other related work.
