Amendment history for N.J.S.A. Title 11A

Every dated enactment, amendment and repeal in the New Jersey Civil Service Act, with the session law that made each change, linked to the section it changed.

Every dated enactment, amendment and repeal in N.J.S.A. Title 11A: 273 of them across 157 sections, from 1986 to 2026. Each entry names the session law that made the change, linked to the section it changed, including the 9 sections the Legislature has repealed.

A statute changes only when the Legislature amends it, so a section with no entry since its enactment is settled rather than stale. That is the opposite of how the regulations read: the New Jersey Register publishes on a schedule whether or not a rule moved.

This title is current through New Jersey 221st Second Annual Session, L. 2025, c. 346 and J.R. 22 — the close of the 221st Legislature. Reviewed as of July 28, 2026.

For the rules adopted under this title, see the N.J.A.C. Title 4A amendment history. For changes to individual job titles, see the specification changes timeline.
